Here are your picks for this week:
🥫All roads lead to the Product
Emerson Schroeter has a nice write-up on Customer Journey Maps, a really useful technique for keeping product decisions customer-centric. More detailed than a simple user flow, CJMs really help understand your customer’s journey, providing really good context to product and development teams.
⌨️ If it ain’t code, don’t fix it
Google’s Cloud Run is now generally available, and looks really interesting. It seems to provide many benefits of serverless computing, with less provider lock-in. It can also be used as a migration path from on premise to the cloud.
👩💻 It’s all about people
Status updates are an important information-sharing tool, despite being often frowned upon. They just need to be done right, and at the right time. And that’s not in 1-on-1s.
Cue the weekly 5-15 updates - a weekly email written in 15 minutes and read in 5. Great for managing upwards and for team collaboration.
I hope you enjoyed this. Have a great week!
