🥫All roads lead to the Product
Leon Barnard, from Balsamiq, shares his thoughts on the ins and outs of making wireframes, using tools such as … Balsamiq. The key point being that wireframes act as empowerment: anyone can make them, and they facilitate discussion and collaboration.
Having used Balsamiq first-hand when putting on my Product Manager hat, I couldn’t agree more. So simple and powerful, they keep the focus on the most important - the user interface.
🔄 Process makes perfect
A nice interview of the VP Engineering at Glitch, on how they organise their development work.
And from the looks of it they strike a very good balance between high-level thinking, planning and estimation and the more tactical feature discovery and development.
Process is never one-size-fit-all, but there are some good ideas to pick from in there.
👭 It’s all about People
Ever get frustrated by certain people at work? Karen Cohen has a simple but great habit: every time a conflict happens, go and give someone else good feedback. Brilliant.
