The 5-Minute Startup CTO #55
Personal framework, Product reading list, Manager’s handbook, Webhint
Hi everyone,
Here are this week’s top links on People, Product, Process and Tech.
👭 People
Interesting to read how Joan Gamell structures his own personal development and management, using 2-week challenges. This tends to be rarely discussed - compared to how often companies share their organisational and staff development frameworks - leaving most managers (myself included) to develop their own methodology.
🥫Product
Book recommendations are always welcome, and here are Shaun Juncal’s 14 best reads for Product Managers. Just in time for the summer break!
🔄 Process
This is really impressive: Clearbit (or more precisely, their CEO) are compiling all of their management learnings and practices into a Manager’s Handbook, and making it available to all for free. The TLDR; alone is well worth a read.
As always, YMMV and what works for them won’t necessarily do for you and your team. But this is packed with good ideas and thinking, so full credit to them.
⌨️ Tech
Lastly, Webhint looks like a very handy set of tools for website development: from coding to testing, accessibility to performance, and more.
Until next time, have a great week!
